Because business is better when we grow together.

Hi, I’m Jeremy Freeman, and I’m the new organiser of the 3 Counties Expo — but more importantly, I’m a huge believer in the power of local businesses, real conversations, and community connections.

I acquired the 3 Counties Expo in late 2024 from the brilliant Debbie Gilbert, who built a strong foundation for a much-loved event. Debbie’s legacy was about bringing hundreds of businesses together across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire — and I’m proud to carry that torch forward into 2025 and beyond.

I’ve been in business for over 25 years — running my own content and events consultancy (Business Brainbox), helping organisations communicate with clarity, and championing small businesses wherever I can. I also run UpLift Live, the UK’s only LinkedIn-focused conference, and I’m not afraid to get stuck in — whether that’s writing, organising, connecting or promoting.

So why take over the 3 Counties Expo?

Because I believe in this region. I believe in giving small and medium-sized businesses a proper platform to shine, share, and succeed — without needing a huge budget or a slick PR machine. This isn’t just another business exhibition; it’s a space where authentic, face-to-face connection still matters.

Whether you’re an exhibitor, a speaker, or someone who just wants to see what’s happening in the local business scene — you’re invited. This is your community, your event, your opportunity.

Turning Ideas Into Impact - For Businesses, Communities, and Beyond

In 1998, I founded Bamps, which quickly grew into one of Watford’s most sought-after digital agencies, employing 26 staff. Over the years, I ventured into e-commerce, acquiring several online toy shops and even manufacturing our own bubble liquid—an Amazon best seller that shipped hundreds of units daily. Alongside this, we developed a robust warehouse, logistics, and fulfilment operation. After successfully scaling these businesses, I exited and sold them, taking the invaluable experience with me into my future ventures.

Today, I wear many hats. I’m a proud co-organiser of UpLift Live, the UK’s only LinkedIn-focused annual conference, bringing together business leaders and content creators to share insights, build connections, and grow their brands. I’m also an Ambassador in NW London for Entrepreneurs Circle, where I host free, no-sales-pitch monthly meetings, each focused on practical strategies to help local business owners thrive.

If you haven’t noticed, I’m incredibly passionate about supporting local businesses. That’s why I’ve recently acquired Three Counties Expo, organising three annual business expos across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire.

I also love working with fellow marketing professionals and copywriters, which is why I host regular roundtables to share ideas and inspire each other.

On top of this, I’m profoundly deaf (don’t let that put you off!) with speech. My lipreading skills have enabled me to become one of the most sought-after expert witness forensic lip-readers in the world, regularly employed by global media outlets and legal firms to uncover the details no one else can.

As a family man, I feel incredibly lucky to support my wife Ravit in her cake decorating business, Peaks and Swirls. Her creations are true works of art and a sweet reminder of the creativity that runs in our family!

Outside of work, I’m passionate about sport, especially football and cricket. As a season ticket holder for both Watford FC and Middlesex CCC, you’ll often find me cheering from the stands when I’m not busy creating impactful content or supporting businesses in their marketing journeys.

Abi Cronin - 3 Counties Expo

Customer Experience Lead for 3 Counties Expo

If you’ve booked a stand, asked a question, or dropped us a message — there’s a good chance you’ve already encountered the brilliant Abi Cronin.

Abi is my right-hand woman and the engine behind so much of what keeps the 3 Counties Expo running smoothly. As our Customer Experience Lead, she’s the one making sure exhibitors feel supportedvisitors are informed, and that everything works seamlessly behind the scenes.

With years of experience in admin and office management, Abi thrives on structure, clarity and – as she’ll proudly tell you – a solid to-do list. Through her VA business Too Busy to Work, she works with forward-thinking entrepreneurs who love what they do, but not necessarily all the admin. And let’s just say: she lives for that stuff.

Abi has an incredible ability to get to know businesses inside out, learning not just the day-to-day details, but also the people behind them. That’s why she’s such a perfect fit for the Expo – she genuinely wants everyone to feel valued, looked after and part of something special.

She brings loyalty, warmth, and sharp problem-solving skills to every part of her work. Nothing fazes her, and her calm, can-do attitude has made her an instant favourite with our community.

Outside of work, Abi’s still organising – whether that’s sorting out the perfect family getaway, volunteering with Age UK, or chasing her free-roam house bunny around the newly renovated kitchen (yes, she project-managed that too).

So if you’re ever unsure about anything Expo-related — just drop Abi a message. She’ll make sure you’re sorted in no time.
